Jeevodaya was fortunate to host the first workshop on Palliative Care conducted by doyens in Palliative Care - Dr. Robert Twycross and Ms. Gilly Burn, World Health Organisation (WHO) representatives for developing Palliative Care in India, as early as 1994, while Jeevodaya Hospice was still under construction.
